Terms and conditions
of sale
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
These General Terms and Conditions govern the use of the memberships and single classes offered by Piksel SARL-S. Piksel SARL-S reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. In the event of major changes, we will inform our clients so that they can read them. In that case, the applicable terms are those in force, i.e. those shown on this page at the time you sign up for one of our options.
1 – Prices
The prices shown on our website at the time of your purchase are those that apply, VAT included. If our prices change, you will be informed one month in advance and may cancel your membership the following month if the new prices do not suit you.
2 – Payment
Classes are paid by bank transfer, in cash or via Payconiq, within 7 days of receiving the invoice. Membership invoices are sent at the start of each month for the current month. For single classes, the invoice is issued at the end of the class.
3 – Membership
When you take out a membership, we assign you a place on a specific day and time. By accepting this membership, you agree to keep to the time slot assigned to you. Your place is thus reserved and guaranteed from the start of your membership. If you wish to change your time slot, we will do our best to find an alternative, but this will depend on the teacher's availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Piksel SARL-S reserves the right to terminate or not renew a membership if the Client fails to comply with any provision of these terms and conditions or of the house rules.
4 – Personal memberships
Memberships are personal: they cannot be transferred to another person or shared.
5 – Cancellation by the client
By taking out one of our memberships, you commit to attending the number of weekly classes included in your option, which guarantees your place. We understand that unexpected events happen and that your schedule can be busy. Please let us know at least 12 hours in advance if you need to cancel a class. If no cancellation is made within this time, the class will be considered lost. For any cancellation made in time, we will do our best to offer you a replacement session within the current month, subject to the teacher's availability. Please note that no refund is given on memberships for absences.
6 – Cancellation by the studio
If a class is cancelled by the studio, we will offer a replacement session or refund the Client in full the following month.
7 – Pausing memberships
Pausing or "freezing" your membership for a set period is only allowed in specific medical or professional circumstances. If you wish to pause your membership (for example, during a holiday period), only a cancellation is possible, with one month's notice. Please note that cancelling releases your place in the class. As a result, a long break, even for a freeze, may mean losing your place in the class. Given the limited number of places, we cannot guarantee your place beyond the freeze period.
8 – Public holidays
Unless agreed otherwise or requested in advance by the member or the teacher, there are no classes on public holidays. However, we will offer a replacement class within the month, depending on everyone's availability. If the teacher decides to hold classes on a public holiday, the member will be informed in advance and may accept or decline. If they decline, a replacement class will be offered.
9 – Physical condition
Before their first class and regularly thereafter, Piksel SARL-S recommends that members have their fitness for sport checked.
For their part, members agree to take all necessary precautions for their safety and hygiene, and to follow the instructions of Piksel SARL-S in this respect and its house rules. Members thus certify on their honour that their physical condition and state of health allow them to practise sport in general, and more specifically all the activities of Piksel SARL-S. To this end, we may ask members to provide a medical certificate stating that there is no contraindication to practising Pilates and stretching, dated less than three months earlier where applicable.
10 – Insurance
Piksel SARL-S is insured for damage engaging its civil liability and that of the teachers giving classes on its behalf. Our clients are encouraged to take out personal liability insurance covering any damage they might cause to third parties during classes, as well as any damage they might suffer.
